Skin Rocks Expert

Lisa qualified in Beauty Therapy in 1998 and began her career with Clarins, where she developed a strong foundation in professional skincare, treatment and client care. During her time with Clarins, Lisa achieved the accolade of being the UK’s top retail seller — a fantastic recognition of her knowledge, client care and passion for professional skincare.

With a natural entrepreneurial drive and passion for the beauty industry, Lisa went on to build a successful professional beauty website and opened Cocoon Hair & Beauty, which went on to win multiple Reading Retail Awards. At one stage, Lisa was also recognised as one of the top Dermalogica sellers in the UK, with her website receiving industry awards and recognition.

After successfully selling the hair side of the business and moving on from the larger salon environment, Lisa returned to what she loves most — hands-on beauty therapy and looking after her clients.

With more than 20 years’ experience, numerous professional qualifications and a wealth of ongoing training, Lisa has built her reputation on high standards, honest advice and treatments that deliver results while still feeling relaxing and personal.

Lisa is particularly passionate about skin health and Skin Rocks, having trained with the brand and developed her expertise in its approach to personalised, results-focused skincare. She believes great skin starts with understanding what your skin actually needs, rather than simply following trends or using an endless number of products.

Her experience has also led her to share her knowledge with the next generation of therapists. Lisa has been invited to speak to beauty students at Reading College, sharing her experience of working in the industry and building a successful career in beauty.

Her career has also given her some incredibly memorable experiences. Lisa appeared on television with Sir Trevor McDonald, providing makeup for a survivor of the Paddington rail disaster who later became a friend — an experience that remains particularly special to her.

Today, Lisa is the proud owner of Cocoon Beauty and Aesthetics at The Heights in Caversham, her appointment-only professional home salon. She continues to invest in training and education, keeping her knowledge current across skincare, beauty and aesthetics.

After more than two decades in the industry, Lisa’s approach remains simple: professional expertise, honest advice and genuinely personal care.

Dr Amir Sadri – Adhoc

Dr. Amir Sadri is a a distinguished London-based consultant plastic surgeon specialising in facial cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, including rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, and cleft repair. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Dr. Sadri is widely published and recognised for his precision, artistry, and commitment to patient safety. At Cocoon Beauty & Aesthetics, he provides discreet photographic reviews to assess whether a formal consultation is appropriate. For anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments, appointments are available at The Heights when a minimum of five clients are booked. Lisa, founder of Cocoon Beauty, has personally undergone procedures with Dr. Sadri and trusts him for his meticulous attention to detail and natural, elegant results – clients benefit from the same discreet and personalised care.

Kerry

PERMANENT MAKEUP & ADVANCED AESTHETICS SPECIALIST

Kerry Tustin is a highly respected Permanent Makeup and advanced aesthetics expert with over 24 years’ experience in the beauty industry. Known for her precision, artistry and professionalism, Kerry is at Cocoon Beauty and Aesthetics at The Heights every Tuesday, 10am–3pm.

Kerry offers a wide range of Permanent Makeup treatments and also provides PMU training and mentoring for qualified technicians.

She is also highly skilled in laser treatments, including tattoo removal, sun spot correction, skin tag removal and facial vein reduction, with a strong track record of successful results.

Kasha

AESTHETICS SPECIALIST – REJUVÉ CLINICS

Kasha is an experienced aesthetics specialist and Director of Rejuvé Clinic, offering safe, ethical and effective aesthetic treatments with a strong focus on natural-looking results and individual client care.

Kasha takes the time to understand each client’s needs and concerns before recommending the most appropriate treatment, ensuring every appointment is carried out professionally and with your comfort and safety in mind.

Kasha visits Cocoon Beauty and Aesthetics at The Heights, Caversham once a month, with upcoming clinic dates available throughout the year. Her treatments provide an opportunity to access professional aesthetic expertise in a relaxed, welcoming environment from Lisa’s Caversham salon.
