Welcome back to Cocoon, we’ve missed you and can’t wait to welcome you back to the salon. To help make you feel at home we have set out all the important info you need to know prior to your appointment below.
In Salon Changes
Firstly it goes without saying but is very important. If you feel unwell please do not attend your appointment. Coronavirus symptoms include high temperature, new continuous cough, sudden loss of taste or smell.
Please do not arrive early (or late!) we have limited waiting spaces due to distancing rules so if you do arrive early please do not be offended if our team ask you to pop back in 5 minutes.
If there is a queue at reception please wait outside. We have marked waiting areas outside in the unlikely event of a queue.
The first in salon change you will notice is that all our team are wearing masks and in close contact with you will also wear a visor. Clients are also required to wear masks or face coverings unless you are unable to do so.
Please use our hand sanitiser which is situated at reception and also on each styling point.
You will also notice increased screening for your protection and our styling points are separated to ensure a minimum of 2m distance if not screened off.
Unfortunately we are unable to take your coats or bags at this time so please keep them with you.
Unfortunately we are unable to service drinks or snacks at this time. We hope to re-introduce these as soon as possible but current guidelines do not allow us to serve our usual menu. You are welcome to bring your own food/drink. We can strongly recommend popping in to Nibsy’s next door before your appointment. They serve great coffee and snacks. We have water available at Cocoon from our water fountain with disposable cups. Please help yourself.
Many of us have tried at home box dyes during the period salons have been closed. If you have please ensure you have a patch test before any colour service. Patch tests are also required if you have not had a colour service in the last 6 months at Cocoon. See our patch test page for more details.
Unlike many other salons we have not raised our prices. Our costs of operation have increased due to additional safety measures and our capacity has decreased but our prices remain the same.
Card or Device Payment Only
We are currently unable to accept cash so payment will be by card or device only.
